Had a knee replacement, staff were not careful when helping me, ended up screaming in pain, nurse couldn't understand why?? Only had the replacement done the day before. The nurses are not helpful, very rude,they do not look at your pre existing health issue notes so they can help you properly. The nurses are not documenting the medications given properly. Each shift a different nurse with there own ideas, no cohesive care. So glad to be discharged, it was exhausting staying in this hospital, keep an eye on what medications they give you as I was nearly double dosed due to the previous nurse not documenting what she had given me. You need to be the expert of your own care so they don't make you more unwell from their lack of standards. I have never had a problem previously with this hospital, but they just seem to have a lot of really unprofessional and inadequately trained nurses, very scary !!

We attended ED on Monday. I would like to mention Greg the male nurse. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable. Whilst waiting. His sense of humour and his dedication was amazing.he showed a caring attitude at all times. He made our visit a happy time and had us laughing all the time. We need more Greg's to make our day. Please pass this to Greg. Thank you Melissa and Denise

Was in 5.5 days. Ed, m.a.u. and ward. I had many different staff most of whom were wonderful lovely people. However communication is lacking. Files are not read, info is not always shared. This patient did not appreciate being treated like and spoken to like a child when trying to explain something. A lot of bother would have been saved by listening to me. However food was pretty good. Again, most staff are great.

Beware. In March 2023 I went here for a routine colonoscopy and ended up nearly bleeding out on the floor of my home a couple of hours later, I ended up in the ER and RPH needed to fix what these people didn't do properly and I ended up spending a couple of extra days in the hospital as a result. I lost so much blood I'm still feeling the effects over a month later and needed an iron infusion just to be able to function.Nobody from the hospital has deigned to even speak to me. When I raised a complaint I just got a pdf letter sent to me by a rude, heartless bureaucrat which simply denied any wrongdoing or responsibility.These people are heartless butchers who won't take responsibility for what goes wrong if it does.Don't go here if you value your life.

Had a C-section on the Thursday just gone, and prior to that my whole experience at this hospital and antenatal clinics from 20 weeks has been great! All the midwives, nurses, drs just fab. The dr who delivered our little girl absolutely fab as well. As well as the anaesthetist and other support staff present. The food in the hospital is also fantastic. Highly recommend this hospital. Wish I had my other two children here.

I had a brilliant experience with Dr Doug Brazil. Have never been treated so respectfully and thoroughly. Ran all the necessary tests to get to the cause of my issue instead of just providing pain killers and sending me home like they usually do in the ED.

I went to hospital for my appointment today. Not only the emergency department did not know what they were supposed to do, they even made me confused. They passed me to radiology department and back to ED and after more than an hour wait they still didn't do anything about my broken arm in cast. I was there for my appointment which was apparently booked but I received no service. I had to leave because of my university and I couldn't do my ultrasound today. Maybe share a bit of information about your services before making people to wait hours for nothing

I was there on the 17/6/23!!!I walked into the hospital emergency roomthe ladies at the front desk are amazingI said I haven’t eaten in 24 hours and shortness or breath But the Asian male nurse just told me I have a viral infection and go home and rest it off in bedBut no tests were done no chest X-ray nothingPerfect service at midland urgent careI went to midland urgent care and I was in straight away Nurse Alex and doctor akeemLooked after me They gave a anti inflammatory needle which has helped so much and I was giving a tablet to put under my tounge gave me a chest X-ray I have never felt so looked after before100000000 stars for midland urgent care and1 star for Armadale hospital

A+ Emergency Department who upon my arrival with an allergic reaction to antibiotics and having sepsis, rushed me through and the care and expertise provided was impeccable. I cannot thank the staff enough for stabilising me, letting me know each step they were taking and after hours of care were able to get me up to a ward. From there the nursing staff were amazing, showing empathy, care and compassion along with lovely smiles and good sense of humour.After a few days of four hourly antibiotics I was able to go home.Thank you, this is a top hospital with highly efficient and effective staff.
